My name is Michael Jacomet, and I am the curator and Artist of the Galley. Our mission is very simple. We want to show and offer for sale the finest of Fine Art and one of a kind art. I have been an Artist since I was a very young boy. I have always had a passion for the arts, especially the visual arts and crafts, and unique art. I have been drawing and painting since grade school. In third grade I entered a Scottsdale School District student art show and won a 3rd place award for my colored pastel abstract drawing on black paper. I was intrigued forever.

When I had the opportunity to launch this Gallery I returned to my commitment and passion for The Fine Arts and Crafts of my Academic training. I will be displaying my work and the work of other like minded, talented Artists.

I will not compromise the inherent quality all of the work shown, and availability of all pieces chosen. We who are associated with the Gallery will continue to practice these guidelines, and rules.

For those of you who are not familiar with the distinction between art and Fine Art. I will give my own understanding of what constitutes the difference. All art contains some Fine Art, but not all art is Fine Art. The distinction is that Fine art is unique and has a quality that adds to the collective history of the museum quality of Art. Unique by itself may be enough, but it is deeper than just unique. It makes a change to the general movement of Art. It affects the history of the future, and as such it becomes intrinsically more and more valuable as time goes on.

The works in museums have affected other museum works as time goes on. This value grows, sometimes exponentially. Think of Picasso--he affected most every artist to this day. He made a contribution to Humanity!
